Better than my old one! I like to stock up when meat is on sale, this helps save it for me to freeze. I like that you don’t have to feed the bag into the vacuum sealer; instead it raises up and you place the bag where it needs to be.

Good machine.

Bearing in mind I have only had this a short time—so far it has been great. The design is much improved—takes a lot less material to make and seal a bag, and much much easier to vacuum and seal. It’s a one button operation now. I had to wrestle with my old model—you had to press down just right with both hands. And the vacuum was way high up on the machine so you wasted a lot of bag material. The accessory for sealing the zipper bags works well. Pleased with purchase. So far.

Fresh Mahi Mahi in the Freezer!

We bought this to put up a large amount of fresh Mahi Mahi that we caught. We also bought extra rolls of bag material and were glad we did. This unit comes with a small amount of bags. We are very pleased at how easy it was to operate and the instructions were understandable. I read other reviews before using and we kept the ends dry to seal better. Only used once so far but we are happy with this purchase.
