Even had this movie not won six Academy Awards, it's one of the best pictures you'll ever see. You can watch it over and over again without it ever getting old. A must-have for your movie collection.

Great entertainment

Who would have thought that this is a remake of a remake, although this is the only musical version. The casting is perfect. Richard Gere is fantastic in the part of the sleazy lawyer, but don't downplay the character of the husband. His song, cellophaneman is outstanding. I had to special order the DVD because it was no longer in stock. It was well worth it.
