Solves a common problem just fine

Broke pinion support in '57 Ford with 9"" axle. Bought a Daytona style pinion support as an upgrade/ replacement, but the pinion gear threads ended up too short to allow a standard pinion nut's locking part to engage threads. This nut solves that issue.

Great...second time around...

This nut was over torqued and cracked on my recently purchased 3rd member from Speedway...Customer Service sent me a new nut asap...and it worked perfectly!

Daytona pinion nut

You have to have this nut when you are running a 9 inch ford rear end with a daytona pinion bearing. The regular nut is to tall to lock onto the pinion threads.
