The finish on these last forever.

I bought my first about 12 years ago and faces the south sun. I've since bought 2 more ( north and west doors ) So far the only problem I've had was the keypad on the oldest door that cracked and faded after about 11 years in full sun. Contacted Schlage and they sent me 3 button pads free of charge. These are easily replaced. The only drawback is I wish there was a parts list with numbers and a site where we could order these. Here is a photo of the old pad and a picture of the oldest Plymouth lock I have with new buttons. I just think these are great.

Excellent instructions to follow for installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was one of the easiest locks to install. The programming of the key pad was easy and simple. The security of the product is made of heavy material. Overall I recommend this to anybody that is looking for a key pad entry system.

Great look and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to return the first one I received as the base plate was already adhered to the unit. Install the replacement without any issues. However, user code A did not work. Was able to work around it. The lock seems to be working fine now. It has certainly made accessibility much easier.
