I haven't actually applied this product to my furnace yet. I read the instructions however, and they say you have to temper the product with heat. Well, I've turned the furnace off because I thought there was a itsy bitsy on again off again possibly non-existent gas leak. I don't want to turn the furnace on again or ever use it just want to seal any possible leak. So, I wish I had gotten another product that didn't require tempering it with heat.
