Best eave vent design ever!

This is absolutely THE BEST way to vent a clothes dryer (if you must vent through the attic) or a bathroom exhaust fan. It has nothing hanging down from the eave/soffit to be seen from the street, unlike almost all of the eave/soffit vent covers from the two big-box stores (you know - the blue %26 gray one, and the orange one 😁). I discovered these over 20 years ago when I realized the contractor on my (then 15-year-old) house had simply vented the flexible tubing from my bathrooms into the open attic. Not good. Found these online back then, got them, and PROPERLY vented the fans' exhaust outside. Ordered more now, as I'm remodeling some bathrooms at my mother's house, and of course the contractor vented the fans into the attic 50 years ago, so now I'm venti g them properly to the outside. The only (minor) complaint I have is that the flap is very lightweight and want to open easily with an outside breeze; I found the best way to resolve that is to ask your local tire store for a 1-ounce wheel weight - the flat kind with sticky tape on the back - and put it at the outside bottom center of that lightweight flap. That's just enough weight to keep the flap closed most of the time, and not so heavy that it won't open fully when the exhaust fan or dryer is operating.
