Is this really a semi-solid?

After reading available information I bought four tubes of this gunk for a door install job. When the first tube would not come out, I tried the second, and then the third. It took almost an hour to get ten minutes' work done. I had to use both hands on the gun and apply so much pressure on it that one tube was deformed to about half again its diameter. The video is not slo-mo.

Based on your description of the difficulty that you encountered while attempting to use the product, it would appear that your product was aged/beyond shelf life. As the product ages (beyond 12 months), it will thicken (cure) to the point of becoming difficult/impractical or impossible to use. At your convenience, please contact DAP's Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477 so that we can obtain some additional information from you. when calling in, please have the product package available, as we will need to collect production information from it.

I won't purchase this product again...

I purchased this product because it was a clear caulk. I thought it was me or my caulking gun....this product is so thick that it won't come out. I had to use my screw driver to pull it out. I am very disappointed.
