Not a Universal Lever

This is a nice looking lever but it is not universal. I have a side tank lever and needed to replace it. This not only wouldn't fit into the tank hole without sanding down the plastic but the rod wouldnt fit either without severely bending it to the point it's likely going to break or require replacement soon. The lever, as it was received, couldn't be installed without interfering with the fill valve or overflow pipe. What should have been a quick and easy installation turned out to be a time consuming nightmare.
