I am 5'8" 160 pounds and went with medium. I washed mine and there was a little shrinkage but not enough to affect the fit. I am picky about hoodies. The hood has to function as a hood, the sleeves need to be long, the fabric has to have some stretch and memory, and the cut feminine. These hoodies check off the boxes for me. They are very nice hoodies for the price. The only complaint I have is that the purple is not as bright as it appears in the picture. It is more of a dull plum. I love it anyway.
