Fuel Tank - Compatible with 1968 - 1974 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973

Gas tank fits perfect, high quality and comes with outlet tube and plastic screen. Aluminum tape was placed on the tank vent, inlet and overflow tubes to keep moisture out while shipping. I ended up washing out the tank prior to use with acetone to remove any residue left in the tank from it's manufacturing. Good thing I did there was black paint over spray inside the tank that came out with the acetone wash.

Had to do a small modification for the tank to fit. The front corners were a little to squared off to fit in the hole. And the new tank had and extra vent tube. Both were fixed and the install went well. I will order again from Parts Geek. Good price.
