I got this for my almost 8 month old great-grandson. He %26 his mom came for a visit, and I wanted a toy he could 'grow with'. This was the perfect choice. It absolutely fascinated him. My only regret is that the sound is too loud. I'm really glad he wasn't here yet when when I turned it on. I was checking it over for broken pieces before he came. I personally jumped about a foot above my chair by the jarringly loud sound. I believe it would have startled him so bad he never would have played with it. As it is, with the sound off, he had a great time sitting in our laps and playing with it. It is very sturdy and will last him for several years, I'm sure. It has so many fascinating features. On the inside, it has tying shoes, a button shirt, etc. There are 'keys' that can be inserted to open things, a bank, etc. They are sturdy and well attached so they don't fall off. One great feature, the thing works in both English and Spanish. I'm sure it will be a learning tool when he is older and he can learn a little Spanish. I have to admit is is much nicer than I expected and my great- grandson, his mom, and I are very satisfied with it. I recommend this product very much.
