The timer is very simple to use. After you read the instructions once and set it up I do not think I'll have to ever review the instruction sheet again. It's that simple. One word of caution: I bought eight of these timers. And one of them required the "paper clip" reset which is mentioned in the instructions as the first step. I did not think that they would need this general reset but, like I say, one of them did. I highly recommend the timer for its simplicity and ease of use when you don't need the flexibility of being able to program more than two events in a 24 hour period and do not need to specify certain days of the week, or need a random on/off mode of operation that the more expensive timers have but are more difficult to program.
