Was hoping to connect to my internet connection at the highest speed possible so I bought the Hawking Hi-Gain Wireless-300N USB Adapter (HWUN4) and Hawking Wireless-300N Router with Range Amplifier (HAWNR3) together. They had Hawkings' name on it and cost a little more, so I thought I was good. After receiving both items and turning them on and still running my old wireless router, I did not get any better signal over the old Motorola Surf wireless modem (from my ISP) with a cheap USB wireless adapter! Not only that, the software and drivers for the Hawking Hi-Gain Wireless-300N USB Adapter (HWUN4) were pitiful. I would loose my connection to the router almost daily and the software was useless. After about 2 months of this, I replaced the Hawking Hi-Gain Wireless-300N USB Adapter (HWUN4) with a $12.99 (Walmart) TP-Link 150Mbps Mini Wireless N USB Adapter (TL-WN723N) and have NOT had a problem with loosing my wireless connection once during the last month it has been in use.
