I've got 4 bikes and one on each bike. This is the only item that fits so you have to purchase. It is a solid unit that has never failed me. I took a good soil sample last summer and it took a direct hit. The only part that broke was the RAM mount. -m-2018 KTM 500 EXC-F--

Garmin Rugged Mount Works!

I purchase this to add to my VFR. It works great locks the Garmin Montana in place. I wired it to the license plate wire so it will not drain the battery. If you have a Garmin Montana and you want to attach it to your machine get one! It is super easy to wire it hot to you battery and depending your machine may be tricky. Not too hard to wire.

Garmin Montana powered rugged mount

This is the best and most durable charging base I've used. I highly recommend this if you ride offroad and require uninterrupted power to your garmin Montana. The wiring harness has many wires for various sensors but personally I only use the red and black power wires.
