The sofa has track arms that result in providing a little extra seating space while convenience is provided by the storage space available in the seat frame. The Palisades storage sofa gives you storage of about four inches in height, allowing you to store blankets, magazines or electronics in the sofa. Gas lift technology provides safe opening and closing of the seat frame, ensuring that the frame will not slam shut or be difficult to raise. This sofa is perfect for smaller spaces where storage is at a premium.

A bit disappointing. It was hard to put together with the meger directions. We finally realized that you have to install the arms from the bottom up. The pillows don't stay up well. Would have sent it back if it was not so big and difficult.

Serta and Walmart need better quality and control
Please do not buy this sofa. I made the mistake of purchasing this for my studio apartment. The sofa had a weird mildew smell (like is was in my nana's seller) and the cushions were made our of cheap material (probably wouldn't last three months). The sofa had parts of it's frame broken. I had it for 34 hours then it was shipping back to Walmart. I honestly had high hope for this sofa since it was a Serta brand. Also, I got a migraine due to the smells. I think it was from the warehouse it was stored in. PLEASE DO NOT BE LIKE ME.
