It's all good.

To answer the number one question; yes, you can install these either inside or outside of the window casing. I purchased 5 of these and all 5 came with all parts and nothing broken. Install was easy and they look as good as I thought they would. They operate smoothly and fit perfectly. I installed these inside of the window casing instead of outside as shown in the pictures with no problems. And these bad boys really block out the sun, which is perfect for my room mate with a wierd schedule.

I bought these for my study to match my dark brown furniture. The blinds look awesome. High quality look. My room seems larger now that I replaced the curtains w blinds. I suppose it is because the blinds allow for the outside view to come in whereas curtains block the view. My friends like them more than my white ones. This is my second set. They function well and for the cost, I think they are a great value.
