Beautyrest Tencel White Down Blanket Twin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this blanket. I live in FL and sleep hot. It is simply impossible to get my house cooler than about 76 degrees in the summer. I was sick of waking up sweaty in a soaked bed. This blanket is wonderful. It is very lightweight and sits above my body rather than wrapping me up like a mummy. It doesn't get hot and retain heat - it stays a perfectly comfortable temperature through the night and breathes. The fabric seems to be of very good quality. When I took it out of the package and shook it out there was only one stray feather that came out. The feathers are nice and fluffy and not pokey. It fits nicely in a duvet cover. I wish it had loops sewn in to attach it to a duvet and might add some myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little unsure how I'd like this. If it was still going to feel heavy and hot. Right now it's summer and quite humid. But I have to say, it it extremely lightweight and I thought had"cooling"effect. I don't wale up hot. Or sweaty. A lot of times my feet feel hot and I am kicking the comfort off but not with this. It lays beautifully on my queen size bed and hangs just above my dust ruffle. It has a slight slippery feel to it. Not like satin or silk but close. Be advised, thus cannot be washed in your washing machine it handwashed. Per instructions, it is dry clean only. So if you have dogs or cats that shed and you are used to washing your bedding frequently, this can be an issue. And maybe keep a throw on top for them to lay on. Love the edges how they are seen and have a finished look about them. Great company, impressive blanket that's looks like a high end comforter. And is wonderful to sleep with in the summer. Very breathable.
