Not sold on compression part but great way to orga

The first time i used these i did it wrong. I forgot about the compression part and instead thought i was simply expanding bags to make bigger, like my suitcases. I came to write the review and realized my err. Finally had another trip i could test these out and review. So i admit i am an over packer. No matter how long or short of a trip, big or small of a suitcase, my bag will be stuffed. Incorporating these mini bags was not only seamless but perfectly organized your contents. Which made unpacking a breeze. After filling the bags, i zipped them up for compression but the fully filled bags had little air in them to begin with. Zipping them may have saved that little air space but i don't know that made a difference. The largest bag that was not overfilled had my nicer, finer tops and i didn't want to compress and wrinkle them. For me the space saving was not in the compression, but simply using the bags themselves organized space well in my bag and most of all, i liked not having everything go in the pit of my suitcase, it was like my suitcase had compartments. I liked it and found useful enough.

Testing these out starting tomorrow for a nine day trip. First impressions…WELL MADE! Strong zippers, excellent stitching, handles are a great addition! Already own “regular “ packing cubes, but a second zipper for compression is a game changer. Not slick or fumbling around. Tight, solid and secure. Will likely purchase more. Wish these were sold in store.
