The light is perfect for task lighting. The stem is very flexible so the light can be easily adjusted. I have it clipped to my lap desk to light my laptop keyboard which does not have backlighting.

It's a cheap light. I got it because it plugs in. But it's a USB, so you need an adapter. The cord is fairly long which is good. The clip is too big to put on my laptop and too small for the card table I use as a desk. But you can stand it on it's clip. It's just easy to knock over. Wasn't that impressed
