I love that these can go in dishwasher! But they still come with a brush in case something gets stuck. I've been hunting for the right straws that can be reused and are dishwasher safe, because with 4 kids, I don't want to hand wash anything if I can help it. My kids love drinking through straws and now they can all choose a favorite color when we have multiple straws out, while I still feel good that we can reuse them! Win win win!
