101 Famous Poems, (Hardcover)

Love it. Grew up with it. When my mom was 16 in 1940 she worked in a library. She checked it out and never returned it. She and my dad would read the poems to me and my 3 siblings. We knew all of them and could tell you who the author was.Some We could recite by heart. When we had to memorize a poem for class it came out of this book. My sister and I haveread them to our children. I have read them to my Children. When we would visit my brother he would read them to his neices and nephews. I readthem to my grandson who lives with me. I have retired many copies because they are worn out. The orinigal one that mymom never returned really wore out. No cover, the pages were falling out. When I can’t sleep at night I pick it up and read a few. What a great book. I guess it’s okay to say where the original book came from and she is no longer here and with the statute of limitions I don’t think she could get into trouble.
