Hiball Energy Ruby Red Grapefruit Certified Organic Energy Drink, 16 Fluid Ounce Cans, 8 Count

The couple times I've tried energy drinks in the past, I wasn't excited about the taste, still I was willing to give this Hi-ball brand a chance. Surprisingly I like it! The ruby red flavor is really refreshing. I was afraid the flavor would be very subtle with just a hint of citrus, but instead this is more like a soda with a mild grapefruit flavor that's not sour or bitter. You get eight twelve ounce cans in this pack. Three dollars a can is steep. Much more expensive than other energy drinks, but it is USDA organic made with organic grapefruit juice, organic caffeine, organic guarana and organic ginseng which helps justify some of the cost. There's also no fat, no sodium and it's sweetened with cane sugar which I prefer over sugar substitutes. As for giving me energy, I don't know for sure if it does, however after drinking about a third of a can, I suddenly got motivated to rearrange parts of my kitchen and laundry room at eleven o'clock at night. I don't normally start projects like that so late so maybe it does work. I'm definitely a fan if it does because I can certainly use the kickstart. Especially at the office when I hit that two o'clock wall after lunch and feel like nodding off, a can of this will come in handy.

So first of all this does not taste good to me at all! Now to be fair I am not crazy about grapefruit so this could be the reason. Now as far as giving me more energy I would say it was amazing. I drank one at breakfast time and it kept me going until about 3:00 that day. I also just love that it's made from so many organic ingrediants so I dont feel as bad for drinking it.
