Key item features

"American History X": Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton) is dangerous, a coiled fury of hate who leads a neo-Nazi gang. But time and events start to change him. He reassesses his ways while doing time for manslaughter and emerges from prison eager to keep his younger brother (Edward Furlong) from falling victim to the thug cycle of violence and payback. It may be too late. Weaving in and out of events past and present in Derek's life, "American History X" is revealing in its look at white-supremacist gangs and impassioned in its message that hatred and bigotry can be unlearned. "A History Of Violence": A small-town diner owner, Tom Stall (Viggo Mortensen) finds himself a local hero after he successful takes down two thugs during an attempted robbery. But his sudden celebrity draws unwanted attention from the outside world, including mobsters Carl Fogarty (Academy Award(R) nominee Ed Harris) and Richie Cusack (Academy Award(R) winner William Hurt), who insist that Tom is intricately tied to their past. Fogarty begins stalking Tom's wife (Maria Bello) and children, resulting in a bloody standoff in which Tom must protect his family from what is either a case of mistaken identity or a violent past that's finally caught up with him. "True Romance": Runaway lovers Clarence and Alabama (Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette) play a dangerous game when they come to possess a suitcase of mob contraband. They head for Los Angeles, where they'll sell the goods and begin a new life. But both sides of the law have other ideas.

American History X features: Additional scenes, A History of Violence features: Commentary by director David Cronenberg, 3 featurettes, True Romance features: Alternate ending with optional director and writer commentary, Original 1993 featurette, .
