So we looked at hall trees for about six months before buying this model. The difficulty was in finding something made of solid materials (no MDF)versus a higher sticker price. This model (3 separated units butted together) seemed to fit the bill. When they arrived in three separate boxes (three very heavy boxes so have a buddy to help you bring them in the house), they were packaged very well. Instructions were pretty straightforward and included some unique locking hardware that made the job easier. I had everything assembled in a little over an hour. So far we have not had any issues with the units and they appear very solid and well-built. Would definitely recommend.
