South Maid Cotton Crochet Thread

It is like stepping back in time. My Grandma is not here with me, but she is when I crochet with the same cotton yarn. I look at the label on the cotton I see hers. I close my eyes and feel her jergens soft hand with the faint sent of cherry almond. Guiding my in every stitch and saying in that voice so reassuring there you got it. Same voice that can't sing in the kitchen. I open my eyes I remember all the sample stitches she taught me. I can't wait to get started. Dollies, pillow covers, and my choice to make a edging on the bottom of my summer dress to make it longer for this year. I have Grandma with letting me know I can do it.
