Didn't work on my car

I bought this as a replacement, and spent 45 minutes trying every code to reprogram to my Ford Taurus, 2000. They claimed it works on most cars, but it didn't for mine. I even read my car book about reprogramming and tried that but no such luck. So I had to return it. Too bad, it was a good value as usual with Walmart.
