Spice & Wolf: Season 1-2 [DVD]

My only warning with this series is that "wolf" (Holo is the character's name), has no sense of modesty. In other words, she appears to be nude in a number of scenes (although her wolf's tail does a fair job of hiding her), so may not be suitable for younger audiences here in the US. Japanese culture has a different view about the whole nudity thing. The story follows our hero, a trader, who ends up traveling with a no-longer needed wolf god as she wants to go back home "to the North". Mix in shady trade deals, a church that views this "wolf god" as a demon, and traveling together can be perilous. Includes both seasons, 8 episodes per season. Didn't need the blu-ray, but was sold as a set with the dvd. Standard features of English dubbed soundtrack, or original Japanese soundtrack with English subtitles. Overall, a fun time-waster, watched both seasons in about two weeks.
