This mat was purchased for a tile floor, I was pleased to see that it grips the floor nicely and does not slip when someone steps on it. It absorbs a great amount of water as well, so that you dont end up with water on your floor. A lot of mats that we tried, move under the person, this one does not. Great item at a great price!
