This is an excellent pasta cooker
The lid goes on and off easily, and when you give it a slight turn, it locks in place. I don't know what kind of stainless steel this is made from, but I was really impressed when water beaded up inside, just like a freshly waxed car. I'm throwing out my old pasta cooker, since this one is so much better.
