I love the modern look of this desk, which is why I bought it. After putting it together, my fiancé bought the same one! The delivery company called me to schedule a time to drop it off. They told me they would not bring it upstairs, which was fine. It arrived in a couple large boxes, but nothing my small self and fiancé couldn't handle. I wouldn't say it was easy to put together, but we did it in a couple hours. If you want the drawers, put them in before putting the pieces of the desk together- I'm having a hard time sliding it under after the fact. For the drawers, I do see why the other reviewer said the were hard to open. Luckily I put one drawer in, tested it, figured out the problem and the other two open perfectly!! Make sure the 4 screws on the sides of the drawers when placing all 5 pieces together are completely in the grooves, and cannot be felt when rubbing your fingers over them!! That's the issue when pulling the drawers in and out, is that those get caught, so do yourself a favor and make sure they are completely flush with the side and are not sticking out.
