Made for kids and adults, the deep pressure and balanced weight are gentle, calming and reassuring. It provides steady proprioceptive feedback to help focus and self-regulate for those on the autism spectrum, with sensory processing disorders, or hyperactivity.

Hug-Like Compression Encourages Calm and Feeling of Security.

Supporting those with ADHD, sensory integration disorder or autism, this vest is lightening fast to put on, take off and adjust by adding or removing weight in the interior pockets. Deep pressure can also be intensified or removed as the tightness can be altered via hook-and-loop closures at the trunk. The vest includes two .5-pound weights and four .25-pound weights for a total of two pounds.

Weights should be gradually adjusted, very carefully, for each individuals needs. The standard weight to use is 5% of total body weight, and the total should never exceed 10-15% of total body weight.
