Front strap is a bit tight

Bought the gold ones because I was in need of heels in that color. Wore them for the first time to go out in NYC and ended walking a lot in them. They didn't bother the ball of my feet but my big toe was in pain because of the front strap, after a while of wearing them it felt very tight and I have narrow feet. I feel like these have to be broken up a little with socks before wearing them long term.
