This is hands down the best roller I have ever used. It's a 9" roller with all the advantages of the smaller size that almost equals a 12" standerd core roller in holding paint. The White Dove Roller Covers give an amazing smooth finish with very minimal splatter. Tip--If you add a small amount of liquid dish soap (any brand) into each end of the roller where the aluminum frame goes into the yellow plastic cage, then spin the cage a few times and let the soap dry, it will create a dry soap film lubricant between the aluminum and plastic and the roller will never make any squeaking noise. All roller brands will make noise eventually. You will only need to do this again after many uses. If you are considering buying one of these larger core Purdy rollers - Do It, they work great.
