Weber Genesis II S-310 LP Stainless Steel

We were reluctant to purchase a new model, but after looking at the new Stainless Steel units, our old 18 year Weber black barbecue the decision was easy. The most major improvement is how much hotter the unit cooks, and the simplicity of starting up the Weber. We BBQ all year long at least twice or more a week, so we clearly understand the difference in quality of the new cooking features. Love the new unit!

I bought the grill February, 2018. It replaced a Weber Genesis purchased in August, 2001. The grilling surface area appears to be larger and there is a marked improvement in the ignition system and the gas jets - 10 year warranty on the gas system is impressive. The addition of the IGrill 3 adds less work and more control in the cooking process with triple temperature probes for meat temperatures and/or grill surface temperature sensing, and advice as to gas tank level. Quality of construction is high. While my previous grill had a color exterior cover which never chipped or peeled as it was always covered when not in use, I chose the newer stainless steel model this time which includes stainless grills and stainless flavor bars - all adding to quality and product life. Dual side shelves are convenient. I look forward to another 15 years plus from this Genesis.
