Sumitomo HTR A/S PO2 P235/45R17 94 500 A A All-Season Performance Tire

Purchased these for an Audi A4 because the price was excellent. Made in Thailand. The tread design is almost exactly like the Falken Ziex ZE950. Apparently Sumitomo is the parent company of Falken. The ride is smooth and road noise isn't loud. However, these tires will break loose in spirited driving with little warning since they don't squeal as much as other tires i've had. Otherwise, these tires are mostly fine for regular commuting. Unfortunately, 3 stars. Because for some reason with these tires, the brakes immediately developed a slight pulsation sensation through the pedal when coasting to a stop at exactly the 20mph mark. and it only happens at the 20mph mark as it goes away below 20mph. The brake rotors were tested for warpage and runout which leaves only the tires as the possible cause. You get what you pay for. Don't expect summer tire performance out of this all season tire.
