I was delighted at the softness and pleasantly suprised at the quality of this sheet. It has elastic all around. It stays put and doesn't pull up off the ends. It washed up nice and soft. It may have shrunk just a tad, but it actually fits my 10" high mattress better. However, if you have a mattress that needs very deep pockets, this may not be for you, but for me, it's perfect
