A daylight girl found out she loves amber too.

I wanted to try these amber LED bulbs from Walmart because I had never used any bulbs or lights that were not "daylight". I did a couple of little experiments with the help of my granddaughter. I wanted to compare the amber with the daylight. The daylight bulbs that I used were the bulbs that had been in our classroom ceiling fan for awhile now.Very similar Great Value LEDs. The amber bulbs give off a very pretty soft almost golden glow and they do give more light than I thought they would. I was shocked. I also wanted to find out if they burned hot. Of course they don't. Both lights were cool to the touch even after burning for hours. I held a digital blue tooth thermometer close to both lights one at a time to see if there was a change in temperature. Very small change and it wasn't hot close to the ceiling. Absolutely stable light with no flickering at all. These LED bulbs are very restful to the eyes while providing enough light. They come on immediately when I turn on the switch. There are so many pros and really no cons that I can come up with. The ambiance they add to a room without changing the colors of the furniture curtains and the like is a plus. Very nice bulbs and I highly recommend.

Nice Amber Glow, Perfect for an accent lamp

These LED Vintage Edison Light Bulbs, Amber Light have a nice warm amber glow that is perfect for an accent lamp or any ceiling fixture light (ceiling fan or chandelier for ex) that you want to have soft glow rather than glaring bright light. They are energy efficient and will last a super long time! They are also dimmable.

Nice soft ambience

I have a difficult time finding a light bulb to fit a lamp I purchased for the bedroom. This size light bulb is smaller than a typical light bulb and fits night lights or smaller lamp fixtures. This pack came with 4 light bulbs with the vintage Edison style lightbulbs. Although it appears it would be dim, it did provide enough light for the fixture. The amber light is not harsh and provides just enough glow for a small room. This LED candle light bulb is best suited for night lights or features that you want to show off the Edison style bulb. This bulb would not provide enough light to read and is best suited for night ambience. This bulb does say it is dimmable, but I was unable to test it as I did not have a dimmable lamp for this light bulb size.
