This insert fits perfectly into the Motion 5 quart dutch oven or 4 quart chef's pan. It is nice to have a steamer insert for vegetable so they don't get soggy sitting in water. This also works nicely for other foods that you want to elevate from the bottom of the pan like dumplings.

Get more out of your Motion pots
This steamer fits nicely on the 4-qt Chef's pan and 5-qt Dutch oven making those pans more versatile in the kitchen. Wide bottom is great for a whole fish, dumplings, all vegetables. Stainless steel and easy to clean.

This steamer insert will fit perfectly fine to a 5qt. dutch oven for steaming vegetables, meat, shellfish, and fish. It is perfect for steaming a variety of food such as steam bun, steam dumplings, and steam desserts like custard cake.
