Bundles of Hope

Set against the drama of the unfolding events surrounding the 1982 Israel- Lebanon war, Bundles of Hope is a raw journey into the human suffering of infertility that crosses boundaries of culture and religion. Nazem, a Lebanese businessman, travels regularly to Israel and is hosted by Yoram Katz, an Israeli Jew with many connections and friendships in the Arab sector. During one of his frequent visits, Nazem confides to Yoram that he and his wife Ibtihaj have been unable to conceive during 20 years of marriage. Sensing Nazem's deep shame and despair, Yoram sets out on a fascinating journey to help the couple fulfill their lifelong dream of a child - a journey that takes Yoram, Nazem and Ibtihaj from war-stricken Lebanon, to the modern medical centers of Tel Aviv, through the holy sites of Jerusalem, and finally, to a Bedouin tent in Gaza where Nazem discovers a new vision for himself and his family.
