This is a very good lamp. It was simple to put together and is very sturdy when assembled. Provides great light. I was a bit surprised at how bright it is. A great purchase. And being able to direct a certain light up or down via the swiveling heads is perfect. Love the polished metal and the sleek look too. Totally satisfied with the purchase. Three new 60 watt bulbs came included with the lamp I received. Bought here at walmart.com

The perfect floor lamp!!
I purchased this lamp to place next to my recliner. I use the lower light to read, see my laptop keyboard, etc. The top light is just enough to watch TV. It has plastic shades as stated, but still looks great. It was extremely easy to assemble. It took longer to remove all of the the skinny plastic bags that were covering all of the poles than to put it all together. I have NO idea what other reviewers are referring to when they said they had difficulty assembling it. This lamp is the best. I have been using it for over a month and have had no problems with it.

Gives great lighting
Our spare bedroom is rather dark and this light really helps brighten it up. I am very satisfied with this lamp and the blue gives it character.
