Not Worth Full Price

Steve Sansweet's previous work, From Concept, To Screen, To Collectible, is a widely loved book by the author, and generally it gives a simpler and more concise look at collecting despite being fairly dated. This book isn't nearly as interesting and is often replaces the actual collecting of “practical knowledge” one learns by engaging in the hobby. It's boring to look at the sheer volume of figures made and that's really all this book is for. Get it on steep discount or clearance. It was literally incomplete within a year and that was its maybe one little niche it had going for it. Otherwise just get out, collect, and learn about the hobby by networking and exploring it. This book is no substitute.
