Maybelline Volum' Express The Mega Plush Washable Mascara, Very Black, 0.3 fl. oz.

I'm super upset that Maybelline discontinued my favorite auburn brow drama gel mascara and no longer carries brow mascara colors for redheads, so I feel like I need to give this eyelash mascara positive feedback so it, too, is not discontinued. :( First off, it comes in dark brown, which looks so much prettier than the trendy highly pigmented deep black, which is harsh and garish I think. Also, I like this more liquid-y gel formula. Doesn't get all waxy and dried out (to be fair, I've only had it for a couple days, I should probably give it a couple weeks before stating this). It's build-able and doesn't get all clumpy and fake looking. I like the wand, it seems to cover all lashes well, and the brush is cute, puffy and full. If you are used to doing a quick one coat and running out the door, you won't like this. But if you take your time and apply one coat very thoroughly and attentively, and then a second, it looks super pretty, lush and natural. Like real lash hair that is lush and long, instead of creepy, clumpy, thick tarantula lashes. It washes off pretty well and then I follow it up with eye makeup remover. Can't stand mascaras that don't come off at all with soap and water, making you have to scrub forever, drying out your skin. No problem with this one regarding removal. Not that it's important, but I also like the packaging - the teal tube is pretty. I should mention also that there are some other mascaras on the market that do not come sealed. I appreciate that Maybelline always seals their mascara in a package for consumer safety. 5/5 product. Bottom Line: ***Please, Maybelline, do not discontinue this mascara or the "Brownish Black" color.***
