A solid work horse of a reel!!

I have owned Abu Garcia reels for 30 years and when I heard they made a line counter I jumped at the idea. I have owned them from when they were first made and still use them. I fished 200 plus days a year in all weather conditions with almost flawless results. I just ordered 10 new ones for next season that proves I still have faith in them!! Tight lines!!

Abu Garcia 6500 C3 Best All aroun Reel

I have been a guide on Lake Tahoe for 20 years. My customers vary from hard core sportsman, to tourists looking for an activity on the lake. There is no better reel than the C3. The drag system is smooth and reliable. If it's a 30 pound dis or an average 3 pound fish the Abu is perfect. I have tried just about everything and the C3 is my choice in terms of consistency and reliability!

Same great Abu reel, now with digital line counter

I've used Abu reels for years, including a few of the me hanical line counter reels. Mexhanical line counters can gum uo with bait, and theb reels are very wide. I bought 4 of the digital LC to replace some mechanical ones...and they are awesome. Easy to use, back light if you need it and all on topnof the bulletproof 5500 reel. Its a winner.
