All of Active Aqua's submersible pumps include multiple hose fittings so you get an exact fit every time. I ordered the pump because I was wanting a simple way to clean my Cpap hose and mask. I had to do a little plumbing (1/2" pvc thread to coupler) and put it in a bucket with Dawn diswashing liquid and enough hot water to cover pump and hose and mask. Plugged it in and 10 minutes later dumped and refilled with clean water and another 10 minutes to rinse and hose and mask completely cleaned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it to drain my pool after all of the rain because of the algea. I put it in, plugged it up, and by the time I got back, within 20 minutes, to take photos, my pool was already drained completely. It worked very fast. No noise and it drained the pool completely. I wasn't expecting that so fast.
