Only using it for my backyard Bermuda golf greens but it is perfect for that. Mowing at lowest setting which appears to be about 1/2” ( much lower than my manual reel mower I have been using). Has plenty of power for what Im doing. Just haven't figured out how to clean the damp grass off the blades without using a hose (the way I cleaned my old one) but very pleased at this point (one week in mowing every day).

Great mower, awesome value
Im genuinely excited about this little mower. I have two other regular mowers but this little reel mower is actually kinda fun to use. Im just recently getting serious about my lawn and this is the cheapest way to get a battery powered reel mower. Its nice and sharp and the cuts look great. I only had to make the slightest adjustment out of the box. It covers about 2000 square feet on one battery before you can hear the motor start to slow down. I didn't run it completely out so you could get a little more. Also, if you run out of battery, you can just push it and it'll operate manually. I would highly recommend this mower. I could see myself getting another one for my wife.

Cut quality is as good as an expensive gas one.
Here's the low down on why you should buy this, because it's the second one i bought. If you have a small area of grass, no bigger than 1000 sqft that you want to cut short so it looks like a golf course, then this is the mower for you. I have a ride on mower to mow my acre lot, but i use this mower on my 1000 sqft front yard area. Its better then a manual push reel mower for two reasons. First, a manual push reel mower isn't going to have the blade spinning as fast as this does, and that fast blade makes the cut so much better. Since it spins the blade for you, theres no resistance when you push the mower. That makes it worth it even more! If you have more then 1000 sqft, thats just to much for this thing.
