I bought these for my income limited, mentally challenged brother who (because of his challenges) is often very hard to please. He absolutely loved them. What I observed, and he acknowledged, was that they were very soft, and plush to the comfort of the foot. They looked very, very expensive. He loved them so much that he wanted to save them for special occasions such as doctor visits. Therefore, I have purchased 2 more pairs so that he can save one pair for special occasions, one pair for regular wear, and one pair for whenever one of the other pairs wear out. This is a very "real" review because my brother can't afford anything but always wants the best of the best, and it is very difficult to please him - without emptying your bank account . I can't tell you how many times I have bought many pairs of vary expensive shoes for him and he has poo-pooed them. But with these, he was smitten (he had no idea they were from Walmart or of their cost). I have to admit, I tried them on myself, and they felt wonderfully plush and cushiony and looked very pricy. I am one who thinks nothing of dropping a couple hundred bucks on sandals - so for me to say they look expensive and feel great...that's saying something.
