Pitted and rusted after 3 yrs in a master bathroom

used in a master bath and has pitted and rusted only after 3 yrs. Looked up the warranty and is only 1 year. I also paid 25% more compared to listed price now. VERY disappointed and will not be purchasing this company's products again.
