Excellent for steaming crabs or whatever.

I was worried this would be made from thin steel and not worth it. My worries were for nothing. The steel is heavy gauge and should last me a very long time. This will hold 1/2 a bushel plus several ears of corn. My former pot did not have a basket so I made up a stand to keep the crabs out of the water. With the basket it is immensely easier, gives about a 3 inch separation. Plus it is much easier to clean than that aluminum pot I was using. Well made item and worth the price. Very happy with this!!!
