May have to wait for it to become like putty

I had to replace a door window in my singlewide. The replacement window I got was for a 1.75 inch wide door and my door was about 1.5 inches wide. So I used pieces of wooden clothes pins as shims. I used this amazing goop supermend epoxy paste to secure the shims in place. I'm totally satisfied that those shims aren't going anywhere. The directions said to mix the 2 part epoxy for 2 minutes and then I'd have 15 minutes to work with the paste. Well the paste sagged and dripped so I think you might have to wait on it to start to thicken up before you apply it if you're worried about it sagging and dripping, especially if you're going overhead with it. I just gooped it on with a narrow putty knife instead of waiting. I noticed near the end that it was starting to get thicker so you may want to wait if that's critical for you not to be messy.
