Cleans a lot of things beside paint! I have used this for years. It will remove liquid nail, vinyl flooring glue, etc. Pretty much any adhesive mess you might come across. Very strong and recommend wearing gloves when using and it doesn't smell anywhere near as bad as some products recommended for removing liquid nail. Long story short: I had a double sink bathroom that needed replacement of the faucets. BOTH sinks were held in place by liquid nail, not plumbers putty!! Yes, some brain dead Danny actually did this when they installed the sinks on a laminate counter. While my husband was at Home Depot trying to find something to loosen the sinks, I decided to try this and it worked within minutes. By the time he got home I had both sinks loosened simply by spraying the edges and using a paint scraper to separate the sink from the countertop. Each time the scraper went in a little further, I'd spray again. Piece of cake and only waited a few seconds between as it worked so fast. Currently using it to remove old vinyl flooring glue so we can sand and refinish the wood floor beneath it. Great stuff and very handy to have around if you are fixing up a home done by a brain dead Danny.
